 Zenith Y600 Transoceanic 
This is a Zenith Y600 Transoceanic portable covering the AM Broadcast band and six short wave bands. The cabinet covering has been cleaned and mink oiled but is original. It was too nice to warrant recovering. All brass and external screws have been polished and lacquered to maintain a shine. All plastic surfaces have been polished. The electronics have been restored and the set realigned by factory procedure to restore it's sensitivity and it plays beautifully. Restorer's artistic license was taken on the wave magnet antenna and the lettering was repainted in Gold to match the brass rather than the original white.
